Endorsements

  • “Emily is intensively trained in the utilization of EMDR and highly skilled in the integration of other modalities for supporting complex cases. She takes a direct approach to providing feedback and guiding insight that has worked well for a number of clients that I have either sent or shared with her. Additionally, I trust Emily with consultation around complex trauma and know that her perspective will always be grounded in evidence and practiced intuition. I can confidently recommend Emily for anyone looking to engage in trauma work.”

    —Ryan Graumann, LCMHCS, CCPT, NCC

  • “Emily and I share many mutual clients, and I wish we shared more. The way her clients speak about the support and care that they receive from her is unlike that of any other therapist I have worked with. Emily approaches each patient with an individualized plan and ensures that they are being treated with the most appropriate therapeutic modality. Working with Emily makes managing my patients with medication much easier. She is truly a great therapist, and the world needs more dedicated and trustworthy clinicians like her. If I could have 10 more therapists like Emily, that would be a perfect world.”

    —Layne Hartnell, PA-C, CAQ-Psych

  • "Emily is genuinely one of the most trustworthy, talented, and knowledgeable clinicians I have come to know in my career. She has an incredible way of making her clients feel seen through her wealth of knowledge in complex trauma, ADHD, and how anxiety manifests physically, intuitively following her client’s pace while also offering a direct and genuine approach to building connections. I have come to Emily several times for consultation in my career and left feeling more confident, with greater understanding of underlying dynamics that may be at play and creative approaches to navigating complex emotions. I fully recommend her to client’s dealing with PTSD, ADHD, and eating disorders."

    —Eloise Schaerlaken, MSW, LCSW

  • “Emily manages to share wisdom and expertise like a seasoned EMDR practitioner, while simultaneously fostering my confidence and trust in my own skills and understanding. She doesn't dictate "this is how it's done." Rather, she inspires me to trust my instincts while also answering and clarifying technical questions I have. To learn from her is to see how someone can create a seamless blend of fidelity to the EMDR model while infusing her own valuable perspective and approach.”

    —Stephanie Levin, MA, LCMHC
